Dr S. Jones CPsychol
Chartered Psychologist

For more than thirty years I have worked with children, young people, parents and schools.

As an Educational Psychologist (based in Bristol but working across the South West) I support children and young people struggling with a whole range of issues, including:

·       Learning difficulties

·       Social, emotional or mental health challenges

·       Difficulties communicating or interacting

·       Physical or sensory needs

I work collaboratively to identify children and young people’s strengths, needs and barriers to progress. I identify strategies and actions that will help them achieve their potential.

Educational Psychologists (EPs) are trained in how people think, feel and behave and how this affects learning

I work with…

  • Individual children, young people or adults

  • Groups of children, young people or adults

  • Organisations (systemically)

From the first call, Sarah’s empathy and professionalism were apparent. She worked with my daughter who is on the waiting list for an autism assessment and has been struggling at school and with emotional distress. She visited our home, observed her at school and quickly built rapport with our child. Sarah’s report shows a deep understanding of our child’s needs and provides useful insights and practical, achievable, support measures and solutions.

Four months after our first meeting, we are already seeing positive impacts on the well-being of our child from implementing Sarah’s recommendations.
