Working with organisations

I work systemically with organisations such as:

  • Nurseries

  • Primary/secondary/special schools

  • Colleges

  • Virtual schools (with Children in Care)

  • Youth Offending Teams (YOTs)

  • Tuition Services and Hospital Education (for example, provision for children unable to access school)

  • Voluntary/independent organisations

Systemic work can include:

Planning and delivering whole staff training on, for example:

  • Executive function including attention or working memory difficulties

  • Supporting children or young people presenting with dysregulated behaviour, who are disengaged from learning, at risk of exclusion or where there are ongoing attendance concerns

Gathering the views of students across an organisation via online questionnaires on, for example:

  • Emotional wellbeing

  • Drug use

  • School experiences

  • Bullying

  • Harm and abuse

Audits or policy development, for example, in relation to an inclusion policy

In relation to my training…

In my experience Sarah’s ability to advocate the voice of the child whilst fulfilling her professional role is exemplary and showcases her personal and professional integrity. Sarah’s insight and direction on understanding the impact of attachment and trauma has proved invaluable. The knowledge and encouragement she shared with me sparked a passion to deepen my own understanding. This certainly has enhanced my professional practice and had a positive impact on many young people since.
